Easy Map of All the Argus Rare Elites That Drop Mounts
A huge selection of mounts, pets, toys, and other cool new items were introduced with Argus to Legion. This guide covers helpful tips and tricks for reaching the rare loot NPCs in the Antoran Wastes of Argus. Checkout my Mac'Aree Guide to Rare Treats for other cool Argus loot.
Most of the rare NPCs that drop loot on Argus may be killed once a day. Note that a few quests must be completed first to unlock the transportation hub to the Vindicaar and Argus.
Rare Mounts
These are the rare NPCs that drop mounts in the Antoran Wastes.
- Blistermaw – Crimson Slavermaw
- Houndmaster Kerrax – Vile Fiend
- Puscilla – Biletooth Gnasher
The Pond Nettle mount may also be obtained in the green waters in the green waters around Antoran Wastes. Hope's Landing is a good location for green waters near a teleport hub.
Mount Rare Locations
The following map shows the coordinates for each of the mount rares. Note that the Houndmaster Kerrax and Puscilla can be found in the caves labeled below.

These are the rare NPCs that drop pets in the Antoran Wastes.
- Mother Rosula – Rebellious Imp
- Many Faced Devourer – Uuna's Doll
Pet Rare Locations
The following map shows the coordinates for each of the pet rares. Note that the Mother Rosula can be found in the cave labeled below.
In order to summon the Many Faced Devourer you will need to collect the fiend bone, ur'zul bone, and imp bone items labeled below.

These are the rare NPCs that drop toys in the Antoran Wastes.
- Doomcaster Suprax – Legion Communication Orb
- Rezira the Seer – Sightless Eye
- Squadron Commander Vishax – S.F.E. Interceptor
- Wrath-Lord Yarez – Micro Artillery Controller
Toy Rare Locations
The following map shows the coordinates for each of the toy rares. Note that Squadron Commander Vishax can be found through the portal labeled below. To access the portal you will need to gather and combine the Smashed Portal Generator, Conductive Sheath, Arc Circuit and Power Cell from mobs around the Antoran Wastes. When combined the items will give you the Commander on Deck! quest. After completing that quest you will be able to use the portal anytime.
Rezira the Seer can be accessed by obtaining an Observer's Locus Resonator. You can also use the Falling Flame or Darkmoon Cannon with a Goblin Glider Kit to launch yourself, and then glide from Squadron Commanders Vishax's platform to the balcony labeled below.

These are the rare NPCs that drop other cool items in the Antoran Wastes.
- Varga – Fel-Spotted Egg
- Inquisitor Vethroz – Technique: Glyph of Fel-Touched Shards
The fel-spotted egg that drops off of Varga hatches after 5 days in your bag. The egg can can hatch into the following mounts, pets, or junk.
- Vibrant Mana Ray
- Scintillating Mana Ray
- Felglow Mana Ray
- Darkspore Mana Ray
- Docile Skyfin
- Fel-Afflicted Skyfin
- Aged Yolk
